This is a simple tool to help you set up your pocket notebook. Enter the number of pages your notebook has and the number of sections you want. You can name each section as well. The tool will start out by making all the sections the same length, but you can adjust the number of pages in any section and the others will change accordingly.
Each section has four control buttons. The ○ button locks a section at its current length; once locked, it appears as 🔒 and the section will not change when other sections are adjusted. Click it again to unlock the section. The ↑ and ↓ buttons move a section up or down in the notebook, and the × button deletes the section.
Use the + add section here buttons between sections to insert a new section exactly where you want it. If you want to start over with equal divisions, click Redistribute evenly to unlock all sections and divide the notebook equally again.
If you check Start new sections on odd-numbered pages, the layout will leave blank pages where necessary so that every new section begins on an odd-numbered, right-hand page. The results pane will show how many blank pages this requires and warn you if the finished layout runs past the end of the notebook.
Set up each section in turn for the length you want, arrange them in the order you want, and your finalized pocket notebook layout will appear in the results pane below!
